The Story
Rested in oak barrels for six months to mature its flavor, Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado is reputedly the first tequila created by the Cuervo family in 1795. The Tradicional Reposado is distilled from select 100% blue agave rested in charred oak and is very “tequilero” in character. It is light straw in color and has an herbaceous essence of agave. Its flavor is of cooked agave and stewed tropical fruits backed by lingering notes of vanilla, clove, cinnamon, and toffee.
